a nice banjo…Oscar Schmidt brand .. easy to play and good sound …beware it can be loud…hang it on the wall showing Flatt and Scruggs or take it down and play a tune for your friends .. I’m sure that the vast majority of current Americans never even heard of flatt and Scruggs but I’m just looking for the one person who loves them…. there is a strip of black tape on the strings by the bridge to greatly reduce the volume of the banjo. Which some people will demand ..if you watch clips of their old tv show on YouTube and aren’t floored by their sound then I feel sad.
